50 Hudson Yards is a 60 story, 985’ tall office tower in the up and coming Hudson Yards development. Once completed in 2022, the tower will be New York City’s fourth largest commercial office tower.

The building embodies dogmatic efficiency boasting an 85% floorplate efficiency ratio, unheard of in office towers of its kind. This efficiency is due to the rigidity of its form and structural system, optimum lease spans and column-free floors, and a highly compressed core footprint through the use of private sky lobbies and strategic elevatoring. The building massing in turn respond to the abovementioned floor, elevator and core efficiencies naturally dividing itself into 3 volumes with expressed vertical structure. Volume and verticality is further expressed in lighting, and a white stone and glass clad facade.

The base of the building houses 3 distinct tenant lobbies, that provide secure access to separate elevator systems. This separation allows unique branding for each tenant and a highly sought after New York street address. The first tenant occupies the base and low-rise portion of the tower demarcated by the first two volumes, while the second and multi-tenant is located at the mid-rise and the high-rise represented by the highest volume. The base and low-rise is served by a series of TWIN elevators. A group of double decker express elevators service a sky-lobby located at the mid-rise, which in turn leads to another set of TWIN elevators serving the mid-rise second tenant and high-rise multi-tenant.

Attractive amenities like cafés, meeting rooms, lounges, and relaxing spaces enhance the working environment and are essential to the completeness and attractiveness of a workplace location today. In 50 Hudson, amenity spaces can be found in the podium second level, sky lobby, and at the very top of the building. The sky lobby and summit of 50 Hudson boasts staggering views out into the city and Hudson River.
